In June 2013 I presented a paper at the Melancholia: Imaging the End of the World conference hosted by Philipps University, Marburg, Germany. We then spent a week in Weimar, at the Bauhaus University. Other destinations included Frankfurt, Baden-Baden, Heidelberg, Strasbourg (France), Konstanz, Berlin, Munich, Salzburg (Austria), Venice and Milan (Italy), and finally Zurich (Switzerland).
